Copyright Infringement Complaint Notice
Last updated: 26 October 2026
If you believe material available in SomeDrama infringes a copyright you own or represent, you may submit a complaint under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by email, following the guidelines on this page.
Our handling of DMCA complaints is intended solely to protect the interests of rights holders. It should not be read as directing our activities toward any particular overseas market, or as consent to the jurisdiction of any foreign court.
What to include in your complaint
For us to act on it, a complaint must contain all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — the title as it appears in the app, the episode, and a screenshot where possible.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
An incomplete notice may delay our response. Knowingly filing a false claim may carry liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
How we respond
We review every complete notice and remove or disable access to material we find to be infringing. We may also pass the notice, including your contact details, to the party that supplied the material.
Counter notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter notice to the same address. Include the material that was removed and where it appeared, your contact details and signature, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed in error.
